1. Overview

At DoHub, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling service bookings made through our Platform. We aim to be fair to both customers and service providers while maintaining the quality and reliability of our services.

2. Cancellation by Customer

2.1 Instant Bookings (30-Minute Service)

Free Cancellation: Cancel within 5 minutes of booking for a full refund

  • 5-15 minutes after booking: 50% cancellation fee applies
  • After 15 minutes or if service provider is en route: 100% cancellation fee applies
  • After service provider arrives: No refund; full payment required

2.2 Scheduled Bookings

  • More than 6 hours before scheduled time: Free cancellation with full refund
  • 3-6 hours before scheduled time: 25% cancellation fee applies
  • 1-3 hours before scheduled time: 50% cancellation fee applies
  • Less than 1 hour before scheduled time: 100% cancellation fee applies

2.3 How to Cancel

You can cancel your booking through:

  • DoHub mobile app (recommended for fastest processing)
  • Website dashboard under "My Bookings"
  • Customer support hotline: Coming Soon

3. Cancellation by Service Provider

In rare cases where a service provider needs to cancel:

  • You will receive immediate notification
  • We will attempt to assign an alternative service provider
  • If no alternative is available, you receive a full refund plus a ₹100 inconvenience credit
  • The service provider may face penalties as per our provider terms

4. Refund Processing

4.1 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • DoHub Wallet: Instant credit (recommended)
  • UPI/Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Net Banking: 5-7 business days

Note: Actual credit to your account depends on your bank's processing time.

4.2 Refund Method

Refunds are credited to the original payment method unless you request a DoHub Wallet credit, which is processed instantly.

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Weather or Emergency Situations

In case of extreme weather, natural disasters, or declared emergencies:

  • Free cancellation is allowed with full refund
  • You can reschedule at no additional cost
  • Service providers are not penalized for such cancellations

5.2 Service Provider No-Show

If the service provider doesn't arrive within the guaranteed time frame:

  • Full refund plus ₹200 compensation credit
  • Priority booking for your next service
  • Option to rebook immediately with another provider at no extra cost

5.3 Unsatisfactory Service

If you're not satisfied with the completed service:

  • Report the issue within 24 hours of service completion
  • Our team will investigate and may offer a partial or full refund
  • Alternatively, we may arrange for the service to be redone at no charge

6. Modifications and Rescheduling

Instead of canceling, you can modify your booking:

6.1 Rescheduling

  • Scheduled bookings: Free rescheduling up to 3 hours before service time
  • Instant bookings: Contact support immediately; subject to provider availability
  • Maximum 2 reschedules per booking

6.2 Service Modifications

You can modify service details (e.g., service type, additional requirements) up to 1 hour before scheduled time. Price adjustments will apply if the scope of work changes.

7. Repeated Cancellations

To maintain platform integrity and fairness to service providers:

  • Customers with more than 3 cancellations in a month may face booking restrictions
  • Excessive cancellations may result in account suspension
  • We encourage using the reschedule option instead of canceling

8. Payment for Partial Services

If service is partially completed due to circumstances beyond the service provider's control:

  • Payment is prorated based on work completed
  • Both parties must agree on the completion percentage
  • Disputes are resolved by DoHub support team
  • Partial refunds processed within 3-5 business days

9. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with cancellation charges or refund amounts:

  • Contact our support team within 48 hours
  • Provide relevant details and evidence
  • Our team will review and respond within 2-3 business days
  • Final decisions are made by DoHub management and are binding

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Platform. Continued use of DoHub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
